Pay for what you use

BoondManager (now Boond) is an ERP built for IT services and consulting firms: CRM, consultant staffing, timesheets, invoicing and recruiting. If your firm places candidates without managing consultants on assignment, here is an option focused on recruiting, at a flat price.

A remark we hear from small firms: an ERP built for IT services firms feels "oversized and costly" when you have fewer than about fifty consultants, or none at all.
You do placement or headhunting: no timesheets, no assignment invoicing, no consultants to staff.
The price is counted per manager, and you want a bill that does not move when you add a recruiter.
You hire in Quebec and across Canada, and you want a tool billed in Canadian dollars, with a human in the loop before every candidate reply.
These are common reasons for a small team, not a verdict on the tool. If none of them apply to you, stay where you are.

Ask why a candidate is recommended. If the tool cannot answer in plain language, you cannot justify it to a client.
The right tool resurfaces candidates already on file for every new mandate, without rebuilding a Boolean search.
If you manage consultants on assignment, timesheets or invoicing, an ATS will not replace them. Stay on an ERP.
The points that matter for a firm with a few recruiters, with no spin on either side.

RecruitEasy
One flat price per firm: Solo $29 USD (1 user), Team $69 USD (5 users), Business $149 USD (15 users), Enterprise on quote. In Canadian dollars: $39, $95 and $199. Adding a recruiter does not change the bill as long as you stay within the plan. AI features use monthly credits included in each plan (50, 200 or 800).
BoondManager
BoondManager lists its prices in euros before tax, per manager per month: Core €59, Advanced €79, Enterprise €99, each with €4 per consultant per month. The Business plan, which bundles CRM, ATS and staffing with AI matching, costs €89 per manager per month. The page states no minimum number of users or commitment, and shows no Canadian dollar pricing: ask them for a quote.
Example: a firm with 3 recruiters
If you manage consultants on assignment, BoondManager does work RecruitEasy does not. If you only recruit and place, RecruitEasy costs $69 USD ($95 CAD) per month for up to 5 users, explained matching included.
Monthly prices before tax, without add-ons. Currencies differ based on what each vendor shows publicly.
RecruitEasy
For every new job, RecruitEasy rereads your database and resurfaces the candidates who already match. Every score (a whole number from 0 to 100) comes with a plain-language explanation: skills and experience. You see why a profile comes up, and you decide who to call.
BoondManager
BoondManager offers saved searches with advanced filters and Boolean search, and "premium" AI matching in the Business plan. Their site does not detail how each match is explained: ask about it in a demo.
RecruitEasy
For every candidate you do not move forward with, RecruitEasy drafts a specific, respectful reply. You read it, edit it if needed and approve it before it goes out. Nothing is sent without you. You also get email templates, interview scheduling and team chat.
BoondManager
Emails sent from Boond, exchanges kept on the candidate's file, discussion threads between recruiting and sales, Kanban pipeline. For how rejected candidates are informed, check their documentation.
RecruitEasy
French and English interface and content from day one. A human in the loop before anything is sent to a candidate (Quebec Law 25, s. 12.1), an audit trail of AI-assisted decisions, and an AI-use disclosure added automatically to public job posts (Ontario ESA requirement, 2026).
BoondManager
BoondManager is a French vendor with servers in Europe. Their site does not mention Canada or Quebec. If you hire here, check with them how their AI features handle Quebec's Law 25 and Ontario's AI disclosure requirement.
RecruitEasy
Chrome extension to import profiles, sign-in with a Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn account. No integration marketplace, job board multiposting or Outlook/Google calendar sync yet. We would rather say so than promise it.
BoondManager
API with a developer space (from Advanced and Business), a plugin to create candidates from professional networks, e-signature, e-invoicing and a mobile app. A much wider scope than RecruitEasy's.
RecruitEasy
A young product built in Quebec by a small team. Fewer features and integrations than an established tool, but direct access to the founder and a product focused on three things: your dormant database, the explained score and a reply for every candidate.
BoondManager
BoondManager, now Boond, is an established ERP that claims over 2,000 customers among IT services and consulting firms. It is a full business management tool, in which recruiting is one module.
If you can export your candidates from BoondManager as CSV or Excel, you import them as is into RecruitEasy. Your clients, assignments and invoices stay in your management tool.
In RecruitEasy you import a CSV or Excel file (.csv, .xlsx, .xls), map each column to a field (email, name, title, skills, experience, and so on), check a preview, then run the import. Imported candidates are then enriched and indexed in the background so they show up in recommendations. You can also add PDF resumes, which are parsed automatically, and import LinkedIn profiles with the Chrome extension.
Check with BoondManager which export formats your plan offers. Want a hand? Write to us before you migrate.
For a placement firm or headhunter who only does recruiting, yes: candidate database, explained matching, pipeline, interviews and a reply to every candidate. For an IT services firm that staffs consultants, tracks timesheets and invoices assignments, no: stay with BoondManager.
According to their pricing page, €59 to €99 per manager per month before tax for the ERP plans, plus €4 per consultant, or €89 per manager for the CRM + ATS plan. For 3 recruiters on the CRM + ATS plan, expect €267 per month before tax. RecruitEasy costs $69 USD ($95 CAD) per month for the whole firm, up to 5 users.
No. RecruitEasy stops at the candidate's signature. There are no timesheets, payroll, invoicing, client CRM or management of consultants on assignment. If you need those, an ERP like BoondManager remains the right choice.
Their pricing page shows amounts in euros before tax and does not mention Canada. Ask them for a quote for your firm. RecruitEasy lists its prices in Canadian dollars: $39, $95 or $199 CAD per month depending on the plan.
Yes, from a CSV or Excel file of your candidates. You map the columns to RecruitEasy fields, check the preview and run the import. Imported candidates then show up in recommendations.
