RecruitEasy vs Recruit CRM: what matters for a small firm

Recruit CRM is a full ATS + CRM for agencies. RecruitEasy is narrower: your dormant database, a score that explains itself and a reply to every candidate, at a flat price. Here is where each one stands out.

The detailed comparison

Category by category, what each tool does. Where the other one is better, we say so.

Pricing model

RecruitEasy

One flat price per firm: Solo $29 USD (1 user), Team $69 USD (5 users), Business $149 USD (15 users), Enterprise on quote. In Canadian dollars: $39, $95 and $199. Adding a recruiter does not change the bill as long as you stay within the plan. AI features use monthly credits included in each plan (50, 200 or 800).

Recruit CRM

Recruit CRM bills per user per month. Prices shown in Canada on September 24, 2026: Pro $150 CAD, Business $225 CAD, Enterprise $350 CAD billed monthly, or $125, $185 and $295 CAD billed annually. Several advanced features (automation, analytics, multiposting, enrichment) are included in Enterprise or billed as add-ons.

Example: a firm with 3 recruiters

  • RecruitEasy: $95 CAD per month on the Team plan for all 3 recruiters, and the same price up to 5 users.
  • Recruit CRM: 3 × $150 CAD = $450 CAD / month on Pro billed monthly, or 3 × $125 CAD = $375 CAD / month billed annually.

Recruit CRM covers many more needs (CRM, calling, timesheets). If what you mostly need is to resurface dormant candidates and reply to everyone, RecruitEasy costs a fraction of the price.

Monthly prices before tax, without add-ons. Currencies differ based on what each vendor shows publicly.

AI matching

RecruitEasy

For every new job, RecruitEasy rereads your database and resurfaces the candidates who already match. Every score (a whole number from 0 to 100) comes with a plain-language explanation: skills and experience. You see why a profile comes up, and you decide who to call.

Recruit CRM

Recruit CRM offers AI candidate matching, AI sourcing and AI agents (email replies, candidate submissions, resume formatting). Their page does not detail how matches are explained: ask about it in a demo.

Candidate communication

RecruitEasy

For every candidate you do not move forward with, RecruitEasy drafts a specific, respectful reply. You read it, edit it if needed and approve it before it goes out. Nothing is sent without you. You also get email templates, interview scheduling and team chat.

Recruit CRM

Integrated mailbox, unlimited templates, automated sequences and bulk texting from Business, calling and call recording. A broader communication toolkit than RecruitEasy's.

Bilingual support and Quebec compliance

RecruitEasy

French and English interface and content from day one. A human in the loop before anything is sent to a candidate (Quebec Law 25, s. 12.1), an audit trail of AI-assisted decisions, and an AI-use disclosure added automatically to public job posts (Ontario ESA requirement, 2026).

Recruit CRM

Recruit CRM offers audit logs and SSO from Business. If you hire in Quebec, check with them about the French interface and how their AI agents fit with Law 25.

Integrations

RecruitEasy

Chrome extension to import profiles, sign-in with a Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn account. No integration marketplace, job board multiposting or Outlook/Google calendar sync yet. We would rather say so than promise it.

Recruit CRM

Chrome sourcing extension, GPT integration, LinkedIn messaging, automations with 1,000+ apps, job multiposting. Far more integrations than RecruitEasy.

Product maturity

RecruitEasy

A young product built in Quebec by a small team. Fewer features and integrations than an established tool, but direct access to the founder and a product focused on three things: your dormant database, the explained score and a reply for every candidate.

Recruit CRM

Recruit CRM is an established product built for agencies, with a dedicated account manager on Enterprise.

Who each tool is for

RecruitEasy is built for

  • Small recruiting firms and independent recruiters (1 to 15 people) who want a flat price, not a bill per recruiter.
  • Firms with thousands of candidates on file that start from scratch on every mandate.
  • Teams that need to justify a shortlist to a client with a score that explains itself.
  • Firms in Quebec and across Canada that work in French and English and want a human in the loop before every reply.

Recruit CRM is a better fit for

  • Agencies that want the ATS, client CRM and deal tracking in a single tool.
  • Firms doing a lot of outbound work: email sequences, texts, calls, LinkedIn messages.
  • Contract staffing agencies that need timesheets.

Moving from Recruit CRM to RecruitEasy

If you can export your candidates from Recruit CRM as CSV or Excel, you import them as is into RecruitEasy.

  1. 1Export your candidate list as CSV or Excel.
  2. 2Import the file into RecruitEasy and map each column to the right field.
  3. 3On your next job, imported candidates show up with their explained score.

In RecruitEasy you import a CSV or Excel file (.csv, .xlsx, .xls), map each column to a field (email, name, title, skills, experience, and so on), check a preview, then run the import. Imported candidates are then enriched and indexed in the background so they show up in recommendations. You can also add PDF resumes, which are parsed automatically, and import LinkedIn profiles with the Chrome extension.

Check with Recruit CRM which export formats your plan offers. Want a hand? Write to us before you migrate.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Recruit CRM cost compared to RecruitEasy?

Recruit CRM bills per user: in Canada, $150 CAD per month on Pro billed monthly ($125 CAD annually), so $450 CAD for 3 recruiters. RecruitEasy bills per firm: $95 CAD ($69 USD) per month for up to 5 users. Recruit CRM does include far more features.

Does RecruitEasy replace Recruit CRM's client CRM?

No. RecruitEasy has no client CRM, deal pipelines or timesheets. If those features are central to how you work, Recruit CRM is the better choice.

How is RecruitEasy's score different?

Every score is a whole number from 0 to 100, with a plain-language explanation: skills and experience. It is a second opinion you can show a client. The recruiter always decides.

Can I import my candidates from Recruit CRM?

Yes, from a CSV or Excel file. You map the columns to RecruitEasy fields, check the preview and run the import.

Does RecruitEasy post jobs to job boards?

Not yet. Every job gets its own public page, but multiposting to job boards is not available today. Recruit CRM offers it.
