General Terms of Use

Article 1

Acceptance of Terms

By creating a RecruitEasy.ca account, you accept these terms of use.

If you do not accept, do not use the service.

Minimum age: 18 years

Article 2

Service Description

RecruitEasy.ca is a SaaS platform for:

Recruitment management (ATS)
AI candidate recommendations
ESN management (timesheets, contracts, billing)

Availability

  • Target 99.5% uptime
  • Planned maintenance notified 48h in advance
  • No absolute guarantee ("AS IS" clause)
Article 3

Account Creation

You must:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password
  • Notify us immediately if compromised

We may:

  • Suspend account if information is false
  • Refuse account creation (at our discretion)
Article 4

Plans & Payments

Billing

  • Payment by card (Stripe)
  • Automatic monthly billing
  • Taxes (GST/QST) added according to location

Price Changes

  • We may change prices with 30 days notice
  • If you don't accept, you can cancel

Refunds

  • Trial period: 14 days money-back guarantee (paid plans)
  • After 14 days: No refund (but cancel anytime)

Cancellation

  • You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing
  • Service remains active until end of paid cycle
  • No prorated refund

Intellectual Property

What belongs to us

  • RecruitEasy.ca source code
  • Logos, "RecruitEasy.ca" trademarks
  • AI algorithms
  • User interface

License: All Rights Reserved (closed source)

What belongs to you

  • YOUR data (CVs, job postings, candidates)
  • YOUR content (job descriptions, etc.)

We have a non-exclusive license to process your data ONLY to provide the service.

Article 6

Acceptable Use

You MAY:

  • Use RecruitEasy.ca for your HR/recruitment needs
  • Invite team members
  • Export your data

You MAY NOT:

  • Scrape/copy the platform or other users' data
  • Reverse engineer the code or algorithms
  • Resell access to RecruitEasy.ca
  • Use to discriminate against candidates (race, gender, religion, etc.)
  • Upload illegal content (malware, hate speech, etc.)
  • Share your login with unauthorized third parties
  • Use if you are a direct competitor

Violation Consequences

  1. Written warning (1st time)
  2. Temporary suspension (2nd time)
  3. Immediate termination without refund (serious violations)

Data & Privacy

See our Privacy Policy

Summary

  • You own YOUR data
  • We use it ONLY for the service
  • We NEVER sell your data
Article 8

Limitation of Liability

Service provided "AS IS"

RecruitEasy.ca is provided "as is" without warranty:

  • No guarantee of 100% uptime
  • No guarantee that AI recommends perfectly
  • No guarantee of absence of bugs

Maximum Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.

Exclusions : We are NOT responsible for:

  • Indirect revenue losses
  • Data losses (if you don't have backups)
  • Hiring decisions based on our AI recommendations
  • Actions of your employees/team members
  • Force majeure (internet outages, cyberattacks, etc.)

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Your final hiring decisions
  • Compliance with anti-discrimination laws
  • Security of your account (login/password)
  • Actions of your team members
Article 9

Termination

By you

  • Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing
  • Service active until end of cycle
  • Data retained for 30 days (then deleted)

By us

We may terminate your account if:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Non-payment (after 7 days late)
  • Fraudulent/illegal activity
  • Service abuse

Notice: 30 days (except serious violations)

After termination

  • You have 30 days to export your data
  • After 30 days, permanent deletion
Article 10

Modifications to Terms

We may modify these terms with:

  • Email notification 30 days in advance
  • Implicit acceptance if continued use
  • If you refuse, you can cancel your account

  1. Attempt amicable resolution (negotiation)
